The SIG MPX trigger features a bumper in the housing that transfers the majority of the blow back energy to the lower receiver. This was designed with safety in mind and helps to protect the trigger.AR-9
The AR-9 trigger’s hammer design has more mass compared to our AR15 model, which increases inertia. The Center of Percussion is also lower in comparison to AR15, which is specific to the AR-9 platform. The FX-9 trigger is nearly identical to the AR-9 trigger design, except it has lower disconnect engagement to provide the extra clearance required by the FX-9 platform bolt carrier group.
